A Little Bit About Me:
I'm a Storyteller, at heart. There's a story to be told in almost any medium, if you look at it the right way. Whether you're telling the story of how a few scrappy Rebels took down an entire Space Empire, or simply the story of how you can save 15% on car insurance, there's alway an opportunity to share a story with an audience.
I want to find those audiences, and tell them stories. I want to engage them, make them think, make them remember what they saw.
In my spare time, I enjoy working with my hands, whether that's building with LEGO bricks, or working with wood, or just sketching out the latest doodle in my head. I enjoy listening to music, watching videos on YouTube on some craft project or other, and playing videogames of varying genres. I'm a big fan of movies and filmmaking, and Star Wars is my favorite series ever (I even built a Clone Trooper kit from the animated Clone Wars series).
I was fortunate enough to be able to troop with the local chapter of the 501st Legion at the Austin Comic Con in 2012 (I'm the Clone Trooper with the red accents).
Each year, the IGDA would host a picnic at the estate of Richard Garriot (creator of the Ultima series of video games). My friend took this candid, and I really liked it.
My friend, Brian, and myself at the BioWare Christmas Party in 2011. We had just been through the successful launch of Star Wars: The Old Republic, for which our team had been releasing promotional videos almost weekly.
